SanDisk 512GB CFexpress Type B — Extreme PRO High-Speed Card
Product description
What’s included: one SanDisk CFexpress Type B memory card (512GB capacity) and access to RescuePRO Deluxe data-recovery software (registration and download required).
Form factor and build: CFexpress Card Type B form factor; compact solid-state construction intended for professional cameras and card readers. Typical Type B dimensions are approximately 38.5 x 29.6 x 3.8 mm. The card is engineered for high-throughput recording with a robust exterior for frequent handling and hot-swap use.
Performance by capacity: the 512GB Extreme PRO delivers up to 1700 MB/s read and up to 1400 MB/s write. Other capacities perform differently: 128GB–256GB models reach up to 1700 MB/s read and up to 1200 MB/s write; the 64GB variant reaches up to 1500 MB/s read and up to 800 MB/s write. Stated speeds are based on internal testing; real-world results vary by host device, firmware, and usage conditions. (1MB = 1,000,000 bytes; 1GB = 1,000,000,000 bytes.)
Use cases: Designed for high-frame-rate burst photography, uninterrupted RAW 4K video capture, and rapid offloads to workstations. The high sustained write performance reduces dropped frames and buffer bottlenecks when recording high-bitrate codecs or continuous raw captures.
Compatibility notes: CFexpress Type B is backwards-compatible with some XQD camera systems when the camera manufacturer supplies and installs firmware that enables CFexpress support. Verify camera firmware and reader compatibility before use. RescuePRO Deluxe download and registration required; terms apply.

Survived a Swim
I accidentally left one in my pocket during a swim and it still worked afterward. It can get hot sometimes, but it functions well in my Nikon Z6II.

Solid CFexpress Performance
Works seamlessly with my Canon EOS R6 Mark III and greatly increases burst buffer headroom. My Acer USB-C reader handles it well on macOS; Windows works fine too. Recorded 7K footage without issues; the card runs a bit warm.

Ridiculously Fast CFexpress Type B
Legit card, performed flawlessly in my Canon R6 III. Transferred 37GB of footage in only a few minutes — impressive. It does warm up under heavy use. Would buy again for the speed and reliability.

Reader Compatibility Caveat
Older card docks and readers may not support CFexpress. Check your dock's specs and the host’s System Report (Thunderbolt/USB4) to confirm compatibility before relying on it.

Workhorse CFexpress Cards
I keep many of these in rotation across several bodies. I prefer smaller cards for frequent swaps and they’ve held up through constant formatting and heavy daily use.
