Universal compatibility: The kit centers on the 2791B universal phone cage, designed to accept a wide range of phones including recent iPhone, Galaxy S, Pixel, and Huawei models. Its open-frame layout leaves room for phones with protective cases while keeping ports accessible.
Sturdy materials and layout: The cage is machined from a single piece of aluminum alloy for strength and lightweight handling. It provides an array of threaded holes, cold shoes and attachment points so you can add microphones, LED panels, mounting arms, top or side handles, or a tripod plate as needed.
Dual-handle configuration: Two detachable side handles (model 2772) are included for a two-handed grip that reduces shake and makes longer shoots more comfortable. Each handle has an aluminum core with anti-slip silicone coverings and the pair weighs approximately 120 g, keeping the setup nimble.
Setup and adjustment: Assembly uses the supplied hardware and a built-in Allen wrench, allowing you to swap handle orientation and tweak handle height quickly. The rig adapts for both landscape and portrait filming and also converts easily to tripod mounting when the handles are removed.
What’s in the box: The package contains the SmallRig 2791B universal phone cage, two 2772 side handles and all necessary installation accessories and screws. For additional expansions, compatible items include accessory IDs 3384B, 3591C and 4120.
