Aluminum Extendable Camera Monopod with Detachable Tripod Base — 52–168 cm
Product description
What’s included: one extendable monopod and a detachable three-leg tripod base. The camera is not included.
Materials and size: Both monopod and tripod feet are made from aluminum alloy for a balance of lightness and durability. The pole compresses to 52 cm (about 20.5 in) and extends to 168 cm (about 66 in). Maximum recommended payload is 5 kg (11 lb) for safe, reliable operation.
Mounting and compatibility: The mounting plate uses a standard 1/4" screw to attach most cameras. A 3/8" threaded hole on the bottom of the monopod allows connection to larger tripods or mini-tripod accessories. The tripod base is foldable and removable, enabling a slimmer carry profile when you only need a monopod.
Design and use: The tripod support base can tilt about 15° to help the monopod achieve wider pan and sweep capability. A five-section leg adjustment system lets you set various heights quickly. A foam handle provides a comfortable grip and improved stability while shooting. Note: when a camera is mounted, one hand should steady the monopod to avoid tipping and potential equipment damage.
Pros
- Lightweight aluminum construction
- Detachable foldable tripod base for added stability
- Standard 1/4" and 3/8" mounts for accessories
Cons
- Not ideal for heavy telephoto lenses hands-free
- Plastic hub parts can feel less durable under heavy stress
- Base is compact and limits full-extended hands-free stability
VerdictA practical, affordable monopod kit for photographers who need portability with some added stability. The aluminum construction keeps weight down while offering decent rigidity for everyday use with mid-weight kit. The removable three-legged base broadens stable placement and allows angled shooting, though heavy pro telephoto setups and fully hands-free use push its limits. Good for event, travel,

Design issues under heavy use
Started out fine attached to my gimbal, but mid-shoot the feet assembly loosened when I unscrewed the gimbal and came apart. Later the screw pulled out attached to the gimbal and the top section separated. Needs stronger fastenings to avoid that kind of failure.

Excellent for reducing shake
Very effective at preventing blur. Looks great paired with my camera and gives me solid stabilization.

Sturdy, easy to adjust
Sections adjust quickly and it feels solid without being heavy. The small base limits hands-free use with big cameras fully extended, but for my smaller setups it works fine.

Works well for mid-weight setups
Excellent for 360 cameras and for mirrorless or DSLR rigs with moderate lenses (50mm/35mm). Handles horizontal shooting well. Heavier telephotos (70-200) may need extra head support and careful balancing, especially for vertical orientations. Overall does what it’s meant to.

Dependable in rough conditions
Used it across outdoor shoots and crowded events—built tough and reliable. It takes a beating without complaint and breaks down into useful parts for different setups. People even asked about it during shoots. Very adaptable for DSLR or compact use with quick reconfiguration.

Great for sports and seated use
Hub looked fragile at first but has held up for months. The lower hub’s swivel makes it usable while seated. Extension and collapse are quick. I use it at soccer and baseball games with a heavy lens and it steadies shots well while staying light and mobile.

Modified for extra base weight
I use this with an Insta360 One X2. I flipped the sections so the thicker end is at the feet to add heft at the base. That made it steadier when I set it down. I wouldn’t leave a DSLR unattended on it, but it’s a handy, lighter alternative to a full tripod.

Stylish and practical
Like the blue accents and the tripod feet for extra stability. It extends high enough for taller users. Bought a second one for family because it worked so well the first time.

Solid upgrade over my old unit
I replaced an older generic monopod with this one and I’m impressed. It folds down shorter, feels sturdier and more versatile. I added a ball head and it handles most shooting situations. The tripod base is weighty but very stable and removable if you need a lighter setup. Great value.

Compact and sturdy for hikes
Took it hiking with a Z7 and a long lens and it exceeded my expectations. It stows easily in my pack side pocket yet was rigid enough to steady a heavy lens when I braced it. Minor wish: a locking snap on the screw and firmer leg springs would be nice, but not a dealbreaker.
