USB-C Rechargeable Wireless Camera Shutter Remote for Sony Alpha & RX

Compatibility and supported bodies
This rechargeable shutter system is designed for a wide range of Sony cameras, including many Alpha mirrorless and RX compact models. Compatible families include A1, A7 (and their A7R/A7S variants and later iterations), A9 series, A5xxx/A6xxx APS-C bodies, multiple RX100 generations and RX0 models, plus select HX and ZV series cameras and professional cinema-frame cameras. The receiver uses interchangeable release cords so you can switch cables to match different camera sockets.

Power, charging, and runtimes
Both modules include built-in lithium batteries and recharge via a USB-C cable. The handheld transmitter will run about 72 hours on a charge and reaches full capacity in roughly 1.5 hours. The camera-mounted receiver offers around 200 hours of standby and needs about 2 hours for a full recharge. You can top them up from power banks, laptops, or any USB-C power source during travel or location work.

Wireless, wired, and shooting functions
Communication uses a 2.4 GHz digital link with anti-interference features for a stable connection up to approximately 60 meters in open conditions. If preferred, the receiver can also be used as a wired remote connected directly to the camera. The unit supports autofocus activation, single-shot release, continuous burst, bulb exposures for long shutter times, and interval/timelapse shooting modes for creative workflows.

Build, handling, and use
The small plastic housings are lightweight for travel; the transmitter’s buttons are arranged for thumb control and the receiver mounts near a camera’s remote port or sits in a pocket when used wirelessly. Swapping release cables lets you reuse the same transmitter/receiver pair across multiple camera models without needing additional remotes.
