Monopoly: Harry Potter Edition Board Game — Wizarding World Family Game
Product description
Game Type: Board Game
Theme: Harry Potter
Players: 2–6
Suggested age: 8 and up
Average playtime: ~60 minutes
This special edition turns the traditional property-trading game into a Hogwarts experience. The package includes a fold-out game board printed with magical locations from Hogwarts and Hogsmeade, a set of themed playing tokens, House Cards used for sorting and tracking, Owl Post event cards, house crests to place on completed color sets, and the house points system that replaces conventional banknotes. The board spaces represent famous spots from the stories rather than streets, and collecting full color groups lets you add crests and increase your rewards.
Components are built for repeated play: the board and cards are cardstock, and the playing tokens are molded pieces with detailed finishes to reflect character and object motifs from the series. Players move their token around the board, spend and collect house points during transactions, draw Owl Post cards which introduce surprises, and vie to be the player with the most house points once all locations have been explored.
To play, each participant selects a golden-themed token, receives a starting allotment of house points, and may draw a House Card at the outset to determine their affiliation. Turn structure follows the classic format—roll, move, resolve the space—but with rules adapted to fit the wizarding theme. The game is designed to be family-friendly while offering enough strategy to keep teens and adults engaged. All characters and world elements are official intellectual property of the franchise rights holders.
