Wilson Evolution Indoor Game Basketball — Navy, Size 7 (29.5")
Product description
Certified for organized indoor competition by the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS), this Wilson Evolution is intended strictly for indoor courts.
Construction blends a cushion core with pebbled composite channels to create a uniform surface texture and a soft, responsive feel that helps with control around the rim. The laid-in channels keep finger placement consistent for dribbling and shooting.
The cover is a premium Evo microfiber composite that wicks moisture and offers the tacky grip players expect, while also resisting wear so the ball stays playable through a season of practices and games. Typical sizes available include youth and adult options; this listing is for the Size 7 model at 29.5 inches.
What you receive is a single indoor game basketball built to perform on hardwood. It’s designed for gym, school, and league play where dependable handling, consistent bounce, and durability are required.

Top grip, true rebound, and solid build
The microfiber cover feels tacky without being sticky, and the cushion core gives a balanced softness with responsive bounce. Size range makes it easy to outfit different age groups; durability has also been excellent so far.

Upgraded as my son grew
Had the Size 6 for a year with great grip still intact. Now buying Size 7 as he’s older—still an excellent indoor choice.

Needed an initial cleaning
Was slick out of the box and required a wash to restore tackiness, but after that it performed well.

Explains the mixed opinions
This is commonly chosen for gyms and school play. Many varied reviews come from slight differences between production runs—I bought multiple identical-looking balls and noticed different patent markings and subtle feel changes between them.
