Six-Player Wooden Croquet Set with Colorful Balls and Carry Bag
Product description
What you get: six 28" burlywood hardwood handles, six 8" hardwood mallet heads with protective end caps, two 18" hardwood finishing stakes, six 2.8" weather-resistant molded balls in different colors, and nine steel wickets finished with a vinyl coating. An extra drawstring storage bag is included to keep all pieces together.
Assembly is straightforward: each handle screws into its mallet head, a process that takes only seconds and requires no tools. The capped mallet ends help protect the wood from direct impact and extend the life of the head.
The components are made primarily from hardwood for the handles and mallet heads, with steel wickets coated in vinyl for rust resistance. The balls are molded for outdoor durability and sized at approximately 2.8 inches to standard croquet proportions.
Storage and transport are convenient: the carry bag holds the assembled pieces without needing to disassemble the set, making it simple to move between backyard, park, or picnic. The set is built for two to six players and is intended for casual play by teens and adults (recommended for ages 15 and up).

VerdictThis set delivers a complete, easy-to-use croquet experience for family gatherings, picnics, and park play. Good construction and the grandkids have had a blast with it. Seems to hold up to regular use.

One piece missing
The set arrived missing a small part, but otherwise the components are fine.

Fits in the bag and performs well
We've played twice so far. Assembly was easy and the mallets feel sturdy. Everything fits in the bag if you alternate how you place the pieces. No problems to report yet.

Good starter set
Nice starter croquet set. Colors don't perfectly match but for the price it met my needs. I used a touch of wood glue on the joints before assembly and expect decent longevity with proper care.

Not the best finish
Disappointed by the initial quality. Handles were rough and one had a splinter; sanding might fix it. Threads in the mallet heads seem fragile and the storage bag is inexpensive, though it does fit everything. If you want a higher-end backyard set keep looking.

Poor craftsmanship and misleading materials
Extremely disappointed. The wood feels soft like pine, not hardwood, and dents easily. Many pieces had rough finishes and splinters; some rods look like plywood layers rather than solid wood. Overall the workmanship seems poor and not what I expected for a wooden croquet set.

Enjoyable despite minor flaws
I bought this as a teenager who loves croquet and it was worth the money. Some pieces arrived with small dents in the wood, but overall it works well and I’m pleased with it.

Reasonable for the cost
This is a basic croquet set — nothing fancy but it's held up so far. I wouldn't leave kids unsupervised with the mallets; they're great for hitting balls, not for smashing stakes or other objects.

Great backyard fun and easy for tall players
Very happy with this purchase. We've used it several times and even my 6'3" husband had no trouble holding the mallet comfortably. It revived childhood memories of playing croquet at my grandma's house. Some comments warned the set breaks easily, but with three active boys we've seen no major damage yet. I'll update if anything changes, but for now I strongly recommend it.
