Product description
Wide protective area: This welding screen measures 6 ft by 8 ft, providing extensive coverage to isolate a welding station and reduce exposure to sparks, molten spatter, UV flash and radiant heat. It is intended to create a safer work zone and limit interference with adjacent areas.
Easy mobility: The unit rides on four 360° swivel casters so you can roll it to the desired spot. Two of the casters include locking brakes to keep the screen fixed in place when needed. The wheels allow quick repositioning for changing workflows or temporary setups.
Materials and stability: The curtain is constructed from flame-retardant vinyl that resists burning, sheds water and is built for repeated use. The screen hangs from a lightweight metal support frame designed to help prevent tipping. Metal grommets are integrated along the top edge to attach the curtain to the frame.
UV reduction and installation: The vinyl delivers a 6-level UV protection rating to help shield eyes and skin from welding radiation. Assembly uses cable ties threaded through the grommets to secure the curtain to the frame; the kit includes those ties and a user guide for setup.
Use cases and protection: This moveable welding barrier is suitable for workshops, vehicle repair bays, shipyards, inspection areas and other industrial or hobby environments where temporary segregation from sparks, splatter and glare is required. Legs need reinforcement
Used once; assembly and breakdown are fiddly due to zip ties. If left up it's fine, but the legs can pull out when moved — would need welding or bolts to secure.

Straightforward to assemble. Supplied cable ties snapped during setup, so I used stronger ties and it worked fine.

Effective welding shield
Works great for catching sparks from my angle grinder and MIG welding. Surprisingly, splatter doesn't stick despite the translucent look. Recommend it.
