SEAFLO 06 Series Automatic Submersible Bilge Pump — 1100 GPH, 12V, 1-1/8" Outlet
Product description
Specifications: Model SFBP1-G1100-06. Flow rate rated at 1100 GPH. Runs on 12 volts. Normal current draw about 3.0A with a maximum draw up to 6.0A. Wire leads measure 1 m (3.0’) and the outlet connection is 1-1/8".
Warranty: Covered by a four-year manufacturer warranty for protection against defects and premature failure. The warranty supports long-term use in typical marine environments.
Integrated switch: This unit combines a high-efficiency motor with a built-in float switch so it starts and stops automatically as bilge water rises and falls. No separate float or external switch is required, making it convenient for upgrades or new installations.
Performance: A five-blade impeller delivers the 1100 GPH capacity, moving large volumes quickly to reduce flood risk. The high-speed motor is optimized for consistent flow under normal bilge conditions.
Serviceability: The pump includes a snap-off, quick-release strainer base to trap debris and reduce clogging. The removable strainer makes periodic cleaning straightforward and helps prolong pump life.
Construction: Designed for confined installations, the pump is compact and lightweight and is molded from corrosion-resistant materials suited to harsh marine use. The design minimizes weight while maximizing durability.
Installation: Supplied with 18 AWG, 1 m long leads. Wiring is color-coded: connect the brown-white lead to positive and the black lead to negative for correct operation. The compact footprint and flexible wiring simplify placement in tight bilge compartments.
Use cases: Ideal for boats and small watercraft requiring automatic bilge removal. Designed for general bilge duty, routine dewatering, and as a reliable backup in wetter conditions.

Upgraded to more capacity
Switched from a 600 to 1100 unit and also upsized the plumbing. Powerful and reassuring; time will show long-term durability.

Does the job well
Performs exactly as expected. Mounted on a jon boat with manual and auto modes. Throws water about six feet overboard. Recommend for peace of mind.

Solid everyday bilge pump for light duty
Handles light ingress fine but flow drops with 3–4 ft of head as anticipated. The 1-1/8" outlet is for hose barb ridges; use a 1" ID hose and clamp for a snug seal. Wires are short so plan to extend them. Float stops with ~1" of water remaining.

Simply good
Does what it’s supposed to do. No complaints.

Simple and effective
Started right away and works well. The intake screen sits a bit high so it leaves some water at cutoff, but otherwise a good unit.

Clear docs and responsive replacement
Came with readable English manuals and flow charts. Original unit failed early but was quickly replaced. Tip: drill a small 1/16" vent hole ahead of any check valve to avoid trapped air; increase supply voltage if head is marginal.
