Mobile 6'x6' Welding Curtain with Frame and Locking Casters
Product description
Large protective area: The unit offers a full 6 ft by 6 ft barrier to isolate welding or grinding tasks. Its size is intended to shield surrounding workspaces from sparks, molten spatter, intense UV flashes and radiant heat.
Movable design: The frame sits on four swivel casters that rotate 360 degrees for easy positioning; two of the wheels include locking brakes to hold the screen securely once in place. The curtain can be rolled into different locations for flexible workshop layouts.
Materials and construction: The curtain panel is made from flame-retardant vinyl that resists flames and sheds moisture. The material includes a 6-level UV protection rating to reduce harmful radiation. A metal frame supports the panel and helps prevent tipping; the panel is fitted with metal grommets for attachment points.
Dimensions and weight: Product dimensions measure 6 x 6 ft (1.8 x 1.8 m). The assembly is divided into eight segments and the net weight is approximately 15.3 lbs (6.93 kg). The item color is green and the model identifier is XU-2310.
What’s included: The package contains the assembled curtain and frame hardware pieces, a user manual for setup, and 24 cable ties intended for securing grommets and connections. The unit is designed for quick-install with the provided ties, though some installers choose to replace or augment them with stronger fasteners for long-term use.
Typical uses: This screen is suitable for weld shops, vehicle repair bays, shipyards, fabrication areas and any space where temporary separation from welding arcs, sparks and splatter is needed. It functions as a movable barrier to protect eyes and skin from UV exposure and to contain debris.
Pros
- Large, 6'x6' coverage area
- Four swivel casters with two locking brakes
- Flame-retardant, UV-rated vinyl panel
Cons
- Frame and base are lightweight
- Grommet attachments rely on supplied cable ties
- Not ideal for high-wind or heavy-industrial use
VerdictThis framed welding screen delivers broad coverage and portability at an entry-level price. The flame-resistant vinyl and metal frame block sparks, spatter and UV glare, while four 360° casters—two lockable—make repositioning straightforward. It’s light and easy to move, but some users report the base and grommet attachments are basic and benefit from reinforcement. Good choice for home shops, sma

Performs as expected; solid quality for the money.

Recommended
I enjoy using it when I weld.

JD Fab 2/5
Very lightweight construction
Feels extremely flimsy. The vinyl has no reinforced holes so they may tear quickly, and the tubing is thin-walled—like a soda can. Lesson learned.

Good quality
Very good product.

Good for the price
A bit flimsy compared to higher-end screens but it works and is affordable.

Functional but some shortcomings
It gets the job done, but the red is darker than pictured, the base feels a bit flimsy, and the eyelets fastened with zip ties seem poorly reinforced—likely not great in wind or heavy use. You probably get what you pay for.

Assembly and leg stability issues
Used for a single job; putting it together and taking it down is awkward because it uses zip ties. If left assembled it’s fine, but the legs can pull out when moved and likely need welding or bolting to stay secure.

Easy setup, replace the cable ties
Simple to assemble but the supplied cable ties broke during build. Swap in better ties and it works fine.

Needs anchoring in wind
Must be tied down; not wind-friendly.

Effective welding barrier
Very good product. I use it for spark protection with an angle grinder and for MIG welding. Despite the translucent plastic look, no molten metal stuck to it. Very impressed and I recommend it.
