Extra-Large Non-Slip Bathtub Mat — 40 x 16 in, Machine Washable
Product description
Generous coverage and secure hold: This extra-large bath mat measures approximately 40 x 16 inches to cover most tub floors. The underside is fitted with 362 large suction cups designed to adhere tightly to smooth, clean surfaces so the mat stays put during use.
Textured comfort and rapid draining: The top adopts a raised pebble-like pattern that provides a massage-like feel underfoot while increasing traction. The mat includes 327 sizable drain openings to promote water flow and reduce pooling on the surface.
Soft PVC construction and color options: Made from soft-touch PVC, the mat is flexible yet durable and intended to be comfortable for elderly users, children and infants. It is offered in multiple color choices to complement bathroom decor.
Machine-washable care: For upkeep, the mat can be laundered in a washing machine using a cold, gentle cycle and a mild detergent. After washing, hang the mat to air-dry fully before placing it back in the tub.
Usage notes: For best results, clean the tub or shower floor before installing and press down firmly to engage the suction cups. The mat is intended for smooth, non-textured surfaces; avoid applying it to rough, heavily textured or refinished floors where suction won’t form properly.
Pros
- Very large coverage for most tubs
- Numerous suction cups secure mat in place
- Machine-washable for easy cleaning
Cons
- Not suitable for textured or rough surfaces
- Can trap moisture underneath if not aired regularly
- May have an initial plastic scent that needs airing
VerdictA roomy, reliable bathtub mat that delivers strong suction and broad coverage for improved footing in the tub. The pebble-style top adds comfort while the many drain holes keep water flowing. It works well for seniors and children and is simple to clean in a gentle machine cycle, though it should only be used on smooth, clean surfaces and may hold moisture beneath it unless regularly aired.

Very strong suction, comfy to stand on
Suction cups grip firmly and haven’t shifted. It’s comfortable to stand on and easy to clean. I’ve had it a while with no mold or issues—feels durable.

Much safer in the tub
Big mat that covers almost the entire tub bottom and grips tightly. I feel a lot safer showering with it in place—no more worry about slipping.

Bought two and still going strong
I put one in each bathroom and they’ve lasted over a year with regular use. They saved me once when I slipped during pregnancy — very glad I purchased them.

Great for preventing slips for seniors
I bought this for my mom’s tub and it really helps prevent slipping. It’s easy to clean, fits well, and I’ve bought another for a family trip. Good value and reliable.

Good quality but needs proper fit
The mat clings well and cleans easily. It’s soft underfoot, but make sure it gets a solid seal or it can shift. It also holds some water underneath, so take it out now and then to dry.

Nice color and secure when set
Arrived well packaged with clear instructions. At first one side didn’t want to stay down—placing something heavy on it for a few minutes fixed it. Once set, it stayed put and felt secure.

Solid anti-slip solution
I bought this to help my mother when she visits and it has done the job. The suction cups hold well and after a few tweaks it lay flat by the drain. Most important is that the floor is much less slippery now and she feels steadier while showering.

Mostly great, size slightly off
Everything else about the mat is fine, but it measured 39" instead of the advertised 40". It still functions well, but the discrepancy in sizing was disappointing.

Don't purchase, waste of money

Excellent coverage; one small complaint
The 40-inch length covers the whole tub and gives peace of mind. Suction is powerful on a clean surface and the pebble top is comfortable. My only gripe is the top can be slightly slick when soapy, and it had a faint plastic odor out of the package that faded after washing.
