10ft Split Cord Protector — 1" Cable Loom Sleeve for Wire Management
Product description
Size and appearance: 1-inch diameter, 10 feet (approximately 3.05 m) in length, finished in black.
Construction and use: This product is a braided, split-style cable sleeve that opens laterally so you can lay wires into the channel without disconnecting connectors. After loading, the edges nest together to form a neat cylindrical wrap around the cables.
Thermal and safety ratings: The material tolerates a broad operating range (about -103°F to 257°F) and has a melt threshold around 446°F. The sleeve is insulated and carries UL-recognized component status for added confidence.
Typical applications: Suited for organizing Hi‑Fi speaker leads, HDMI and DP video cables, USB and power cords, and automotive harness runs. It’s flexible for routing through dashboards, around furniture, or along baseboards.
Pet and abrasion protection: The tightly woven polymer mesh helps shield wiring from nibbles and scuffs, reducing the chance of pets damaging exposed cords.
Packaging and handling: Sold as a single 10-foot length of split braided loom. Trim to size as needed and, if desired, seal cut ends with heat to limit fraying.

Solid build, neat finish
Good materials with no rough edges. Easy to use — plenty of overlap keeps cables inside without extra ties. Conceals cords well and looks tidy.

Works well but not for many cords
Bought after my puppy chewed a charger. Simple to cut and fit, but it barely fit a single thick cable — plan on a larger size if you want to group several cords.

Tip: seal cut ends to stop fraying
I prefer this braided sleeve to rigid tubing — softer to handle and easier to add cables. Important: melt the cut ends after trimming to prevent the weave from unraveling; otherwise it can fray with movement.

Professional protection in vehicles
Used this on a vehicle harness for siren, lights and cameras. The braided sleeve bends easily through tight spots and handles vibration better than rigid plastic split-loom. 3/4" was right for multiple power and signal lines.

Sizing guide and excellent cable control
Quick sizing tip: 1/2" suits a single monitor cord, 3/4" for two, 1" for three or more heavy cables. I fit power, DP and several USBs with little fuss. Overall this replaced my old Velcro method — much cleaner and simpler to update.
