ULTIMEA 7.1-Channel TV Surround Sound System with 4 Surrounds & Subwoofer
Product description
What’s included
The package contains a long-format soundbar, four wired satellite surround speakers, and a wireless subwoofer. Also supplied are speaker cable leads with color-coded tags, power cords for the soundbar and subwoofer, a remote control, and a quick-start guide to get everything connected.
Construction and design
The bar and satellites use a durable plastic housing with a metal grille over the front drivers for protection and a refined appearance. The subwoofer is built with a rigid boxed enclosure to support deep low frequencies. The satellites are compact enough for shelf or wall placement; the soundbar is designed to sit under most televisions and aligns with standard TV widths.
Power and audio
The system is rated to provide up to 410W peak output across the array, with a dedicated low-frequency driver in the subwoofer to reinforce movie explosions, music bass lines, and game effects. Surround imaging is produced via multiple drivers and virtual 7.1 processing to widen the perceived soundstage without an AV receiver.
Connections and compatibility
Connect the soundbar to your TV with HDMI ARC for convenient audio handoff and remote volume control. Optical, AUX, USB, and Bluetooth are available for legacy devices, phones, and media players. The unit supports virtual 7.1 playback but does not perform Dolby Atmos or DTS decoding; if your TV sends unsupported encoded formats, switch the TV’s audio output to PCM.
Wireless subwoofer and speaker wiring
The subwoofer pairs wirelessly for audio transport to remove a dedicated bass cable; it still requires mains power via the included power cord. The four surround satellites are wired to the soundbar/subwoofer as instructed, with color-coded connectors to simplify placement into front and rear positions.
App control and tuning
An accompanying mobile app provides EQ presets and manual adjustments for bass, treble, surround level, and several listening modes (movie, music, voice, sports, game, night). The remote offers additional quick access to modes and volume control, while the app allows finer tuning to suit room acoustics.
Setup and use
Setup is designed to be straightforward: place the satellites in their intended positions, connect the soundbar to your TV, plug the subwoofer into mains, attach the satellite wiring per the labels, pair the subwoofer to the bar, and use the app or remote to configure sound modes. This layout is targeted to users who want a stronger home-theater feel without installing a traditional receiver-based system.
Pros
- Immersive virtual 7.1 with four satellites and a sub
- Multiple inputs incl. HDMI ARC and Bluetooth
- App and remote allow flexible EQ and presets
Cons
- No native Dolby Atmos or DTS decoding
- Subwoofer still needs its own power outlet
- Surround speakers are wired to the base unit
VerdictThis system turns a TV into a fuller home theater without an AV receiver by combining a dedicated soundbar, four satellite speakers and a wireless subwoofer. It delivers impactful low end and flexible connectivity (HDMI ARC, optical, AUX, USB, Bluetooth) plus app-controlled EQ, making it a solid upgrade for living rooms and game setups. Note it uses virtual 7.1 processing and does not decode Dolby

Excellent bar with good audio customization
A well-built unit with solid customization. This version lacks Atmos decoding, which the alternate model offers, but the sound is loud and clear depending on the source. On PC the output is powerful even at low volume settings; optical from consoles also performs very well.

Great sound
Great everyday audio and very simple to set up. Bass isn’t overpowering but complements content well and keeps dialogue clear.

Arrived used and damaged
I received a clearly opened unit with scratches and dust; the soundbar would not power on, which defeated the Bluetooth hub. I didn’t notice until after spending time on setup. The system sounds great at my friend’s house, so I want to try another set once this one is replaced, but my initial experience was disappointing.

Initially Disappointed (Updated 7/6/26)
Update 7/6/26: After my initial complaint the manufacturer contacted me and offered to swap the unit. They upgraded my replacement to a higher model and that newer package has worked flawlessly, so I raised my rating because their follow-up and resolution were excellent. Original post: Out of the box I heard crackling at higher volume levels. The company sent a full replacement, but the second set had the same noise issue, so I left a low review until they intervened.

10/10
Impressively strong bass and very capable speakers overall; highs can be sharp at maximum but not painful. This model creates a wide virtual space, while another model in the line supports Dolby Atmos. To take full advantage of Atmos you’ll often need wired connections and compatible sources and displays.

Good performer without perfection
A reliable product that improves movie audio noticeably. Recommended for most users, though critical listeners may want more precise hardware or native Atmos/DTS support.

Excellent soundbar.
Easy to install and delivers powerful, faithful sound. My TV controls the unit’s power and volume so I rarely touch the bar’s remote except to tweak bass or treble. I would buy it again.

It’s okay
Sound is passable but the interface and controls are clumsy. Pairing and app integration are not the smoothest, and connecting is hit-or-miss. Phone volume steps are huge, so don’t use the phone rocker if you need fine adjustments — reach for the remote instead.

Decent for the cost — you get what you pay for
Overall a fair purchase for casual users. Setup was simple and mounts/hardware are included. It pairs easily with laptop, phone, or projector and sounds clear without distortion. Music playback has punchy bass at times. Downsides: the sub can feel weak for movie LFE unless you max its level and undercut mids/treble, AUX sounded thin compared with Bluetooth, and surround movement was modest. Good for a budget surround upgrade but not for hardcore audio enthusiasts.

Surprisingly refined sound and solid build
I didn’t expect this level of refinement at the cost, but the presentation is nicely recessed rather than overly forward, which suits my desk setup. Build feels substantial and not cheap. Setup was straightforward; the sub came paired and the remote offers many functions I’ve yet to explore. It handles orchestral, jazz, classical and rock cleanly. Having the rear satellites tied to the sub helped reduce cable clutter. One minor note about the sub/center integration to monitor later.

WOWZA! Easy, painless setup!
Setup was impressively easy even as a first-timer with surround systems. Color-coded leads make placement straightforward: two satellites connect to the bar, two to the sub, and the sub links wirelessly to the bar while its power cord plugs into the wall. I went HDMI ARC to my smart TV and used the companion app to pair and tweak settings — everything guided me through voice prompts and prompts in the app.
