Telescoping Fruit Picker Pole with Metal Basket — Adjustable 35–150 in
Product description
Large basket and padded cradle: The metal twist-on basket measures approximately 9" x 5.5" x 5.5" and comes with a bowl-shaped foam insert to cushion fruit as it is gathered. It’s intended for apples, pears, oranges, avocados, peaches, pecans, pomegranates, limes, papayas, plums, mangoes and persimmons.
Adjustable reach: The picker's sections screw together to offer adjustable lengths. Available configurations start at 35" and extend to options such as 35–60", 35–95", 35–120" or the full 35–150" for very tall trees, allowing you to pick safely from the ground.
Robust construction: Poles are made from heavy-duty steel with about a 1" diameter for good strength and control. The head basket and pole materials are premium steel and the top of the handle uses molded plastic for a secure grip.
Easy setup: The tool assembles by threading the pole segments together and fastening the head using the included clamps and screws. No special tools are required; assembly can typically be completed in a few minutes.
What’s included: 1 metal basket, 1 foam pad, 2 tightening clamps, screws, 1 bottom tube, 1 head tube with hole and multiple center pole sections.
Pros
- Sturdy steel poles resist flexing
- Padded basket reduces fruit bruising
- Wide adjustable length range
Cons
- Basket clamp may need extra tightening
- Prongs can damage very soft fruit
- Assembly instructions are minimal
VerdictA rugged, screw-together fruit picker that gives you safe access to high branches without ladders. The steel basket and padded cup protect fruit on the way down, and the 1" commercial-grade pole sections create a stiff, easy-to-handle shaft. Assembly is tool-free and straightforward, though the clamp fit may need tightening. Best for firmer fruit and taller trees where reach and durability matter.

Well made and simple to assemble. It sped up my apple harvesting and stores away without trouble. Highly useful for backyard orchards.

Sturdy and comfortable
Solid to use and the grip is comfortable. Reaches over nine feet when shouldered. Works great for my mango tree and catches fruit reliably.

Best for hardier fruit
Simple to put together and solid in hand. The foam cup helps keep fruit from getting marked. Takes a bit of practice — the tines can pierce very soft flesh, so I’d stick to firmer varieties.

You may need extra ties
Assembly was awkward and instructions were vague. The supplied clamp didn’t hold the basket securely at height, so I used zip ties to keep it in place. Picks high fruit but can nick softer skins.

Good value and very long reach
I add several pole sections to reach my tall grapefruit tree. The poles feel substantial and the foam pad protects the fruit. The bag could be taller to hold the poles better.

Excellent for mangoes
Very well made and durable. Takes a little effort to position the basket, but once set it performs well. The 5-meter version reached my mango and sapote trees perfectly.

Rigid design, works as advertised
Segments screw together rather than sliding, so the pole is rigid when pushing through branches. Includes two clamps with large knobs for easy tightening—attention to practical details.

Finally reaches high branches
The extendable pole lets me pick fruit well above head height without a ladder. The basket catches fruit neatly and the adjustable length handles different tree heights.
