Galvanized Livestock Feed Scoop 2-Pack — Heavy‑Duty Grain Dippers
Product description
What’s in the box: a pair of metal feed scoops in two sizes. The larger scoop measures 13.2" long x 7.9" wide x 5.7" high and holds about 4 quarts. The smaller scoop is 11.3" long x 7.5" wide x 5.3" high with a capacity near 2.5 quarts. Having both sizes increases usefulness around the farm or garden.
Construction and handle: both dippers are formed from galvanized metal to resist bending and help limit corrosion during regular use. The handle is encased and attached with a nail/rivet connection for a secure grip and easier handling. The grip is shaped for comfort and control while scooping.
Designed to reduce waste: the scoop’s wide mouth makes loading bulk feed or materials straightforward, while the raised, enclosed lip around the bowl reduces spills and messes during transfer, helping you feed more efficiently.
Finished edges and storage: the sides are rolled into smooth edges so the scoop is comfortable to hold. A flat bottom allows each scoop to sit upright when placed down and enables stacking for compact storage when not in use.
Uses: these scoops are multipurpose — ideal for livestock feed, sorting seeds, filling pots, garden work and small shoveling jobs. They also work well for scooping coal, wood pellets, salt or general debris in household and small‑farm settings.
Safety note: the front rim is tapered to aid scooping and may feel sharp at the edge. Handle with care to avoid accidental nicks and consider wearing protective gloves during extended use.
Pros
- Two useful sizes for different tasks
- Galvanized metal construction resists bending
- Stackable with flat base for upright storage
Cons
- Front edge is tapered and can be sharp
- Riveted handle may loosen over very heavy use
- Galvanized finish can mark hands or gloves
VerdictA practical two‑piece scoop set built for farm and garden chores. The larger and smaller scoops cover most routine jobs, and the galvanized construction and riveted handle give good durability. The tapered front edge scoops cleanly but can be a bit sharp, so gloves are wise. Overall a solid, versatile tool for feeding and small shoveling tasks.

Broke on first use
Snapped the first time I tried it — disappointing.

Saves my back when potting and feeding
I use these for soil and they make layering seed and filling pots much easier. No more bending to pick bags up repeatedly — scooping is quicker and gentler on my back.

Gekko 4/5
Great for potting but leaves residue
Excellent for filling pots with soil, though a dark residue can transfer to hands or gloves during use.

Capacity too small for my needs
Doesn't hold as much feed as I needed for my setup.

Bigger than expected, solid feel
Much larger than I imagined — not a flaw. They feel sturdy and have a good weight without being cumbersome.

Very useful but rusts fast
Great shape and function for scooping, but mine developed rust spots sooner than I expected.

James Brooks 4/5
Works well for bulk salt, handle may loosen
Makes filling buckets fast and breaks up salt clumps. After a few weeks the rear handle started to loosen since it’s riveted rather than welded.
