Power comes from a 1700W heating element that heats the cast‑iron top quickly and maintains steady temperatures for searing meats, grilling vegetables, and melting cheese. The two‑tier design places the grill surface above while the pans sit underneath to melt or rest, supporting communal, customizable meals for up to eight people.
The grill top is genuine cast iron for excellent heat retention and a durable searing surface; it’s reversible so you can switch between flat griddle and ridged grill faces. Love the extra bottom level
Really pleased with this unit. Cast iron gives solid results and the lower tier is handy for holding finished pans or items not in use. The heat dial offers good control. We did use an extension cord for placement but look forward to using it outdoors in summer. Feels well built.

Perfect for a Swiss‑themed dinner

Good features but some durability questions
Glad to have a PFAS‑free set and a heavy enameled cast‑iron top. I wish the trays were dishwasher friendly and it didn’t come with small tongs. The support arms seem a bit light; I hope they hold up. It heats slowly like cast iron, but when hot it delivers strong, even heat.
