This kit contains 28 different shapes and styles intended for a range of tasks: bolt hole alignment, separating ball heads, unfolding knuckles, center punching, and driving out knockout bolts and pins. The assortment covers common shop and field operations where accurate alignment and controlled chiseling are required.
The primary material for many pieces is chrome vanadium steel that has been heat treated to achieve a hardness of approximately 54–58 HRC. That heat treatment increases head hardness and helps resist deformation under repeated strikes. Other tools in the collection are forged from high-carbon steel to provide a balance of edge retention and toughness for cold chiseling tasks.
The set is organized into two main groups. The chrome-vanadium group includes a 16-piece punch and chisel assortment: five pin punches, five taper punches, three cold chisels, two center punches, and a chisel/punch gauge. These parts are intended for precision punching and alignment work.
The high-carbon section consists of 12 pieces: six cold chisels, four pin punches, and two center punches. These are geared more toward heavy-duty cutting and driving jobs where a harder cutting edge or tougher steel is preferred.
All components are supplied with a purpose-built storage bag that keeps the tools organized for transport and storage. The pouch is intended to make the set easy to carry between job sites or to keep tools sorted in a shop drawer.
