Klein Tools 8-Inch Billet Magnetic Torpedo Level — 0/30/45/90 Vials
Product description
This 8-inch torpedo level from Klein Tools is made to handle trade work and weekend projects alike. The single item includes the billet aluminum level body fitted with large, high-visibility vials set for 0°, 30°, 45° and 90° readings. A top-view vial window improves sightlines so you can read the bubble from several approaches.
A patented magnet track holds powerful rare-earth magnets in place so they remain secure during heavy use. The body’s bright orange finish increases visibility on jobsites and among other gear. The machined V-groove hugs round stock — conduit, pipe, posts and dowels — for more dependable contact than a flat edge.
The tapered nose is shaped for easy pocketing and better access into corners and tight spaces. Constructed from billet aluminum, the tool resists wear while providing a straight reference edge for layout and hanging tasks. Its size and feature set make it handy across trades: electricians, plumbers, carpenters, drywall installers and home improvers will find regular use for this compact level.
Pros
- Patented track keeps rare-earth magnets secure
- Four large, easy-to-read vials including 30° and 45°
- Durable billet aluminum body with V-groove
Cons
- Only available in an 8-inch length
- No integrated lighting for low-light work
- May be heavier than plastic levels
VerdictA rugged, easy-to-read 8-inch torpedo level that suits electricians, carpenters, plumbers, and DIYers. Its secured rare-earth magnets, multiple angle vials, and V-groove for pipe work make it a reliable everyday tool for precision and portability.

High quality and dependable
Accurate with very readable vials. The angled end lets it sit deeper on conduit benders and the magnets are impressively strong. Just don’t leave it stuck overhead.
