WORKPRO CNC Unibody Folding Utility Knife — Aluminum Handle w/ Carbon Fiber
Product description
Precision CNC Unibody Build: This folding utility knife is CNC-machined for consistent fit and finish across the handle and blade components. The unibody-style construction increases rigidity and gives clean lines that reduce wobble for steadier cuts.
Aluminum Handle with Carbon-Fiber Inlay: The body is crafted from lightweight aluminum and features a tactile carbon-fiber inlay. The finished surfaces provide grip and a premium look while keeping pocket weight low for everyday carry.
Extended SK2M Blades: The knife uses SK2M utility blades that expose roughly 1.5× more cutting length than standard blades, expanding the usable cutting radius. SK2M steel is rated to hold an edge up to three times longer than typical SK5 blades. The package includes one blade preinstalled plus ten double-ended replacement blades stored in a plastic cartridge.
One-Handed Deployment & Quick-Change: Deploy the blade quickly with the thumb stud for single-hand operation. A quick-release mechanism enables tool-free replacement: release the blade lock and slide the blade out to swap it with a fresh double-ended blade.
Everyday Versatility: Designed for general cutting tasks such as opening boxes, trimming carpet, slicing rope, and working with vinyl, leather, or foam. Compact enough for a pocket, glove box or toolkit, the knife is intended for frequent use in home, workshop, or crafting environments.

Great cutter, thumb-stud can be finicky
A very nice upgrade from disposable cutters—aluminum and carbon-fiber give it a classy feel. The blade supply is generous and it handles box-opening tasks well. My only gripe is the thumb-stud opener; I find it a bit awkward to operate at times, though that may be more about my aging hands than the tool itself.

Workpro did many things right here
Solid-feeling right out of the box with a smooth, one-hand action. The blade holder exposes about 37mm of edge—roughly three-quarters of a full utility blade—and blades swap out without tools by lifting the spring-loaded lever. Overall an impressive design for the money.

Handy but a safety concern in my unit
The handle and blade are excellent and very sharp, and the extras are appreciated. Unfortunately my sample had a loose bearing on the knife arm; when I tried to close it the blade shifted and cut my thumb while unlocking. If that was a one-off defect it’s a great cutter, but as-is it’s a serious safety risk.

High quality, compact and easy to use
Excellent build for everyday tasks. The CNC unibody aluminum and carbon-fiber inlay feels sturdy yet light. Comes with ten extra blades in a plastic case and one installed. The knife is pocketable and easy to store. An instruction pamphlet is included and the blade is very sharp—handle with care. Opening is done via the small knob and thumb-stud, which is straightforward even for those who need simpler tools.

Feels like a pro-grade tool
The fit and finish give this knife a high-end impression rather than a throwaway cutter. One-handed opening via the thumb stud is smooth and the blade locks firmly in place with no doubt it’s secure. Folding it closed and swapping blades is simple and the mechanism feels tight and well-engineered.

Lightweight yet solid and easy to carry
This WORKPRO folding utility is very handy for packages and trimming boxes for recycling. It feels solid in the hand while remaining lightweight—mine measured about 3.0 oz with the blade installed—so it doesn’t weigh down a pocket. The blade arrived razor-sharp and I haven’t needed to swap it yet. Blade changes are straightforward; the lock lifts and you pull the blade out as the instruction sheet describes. I do recommend keeping the locking piece engaged while swapping blades for safety.

Exceptional exposure and rock-solid frame
I’ve used many utility knives and this unibody titanium-style edition stands out. The seamless frame is lightweight yet feels indestructible, and the extended blade reach gives about 1.5× deeper cuts than standard cutters. The tool-free quick-change works smoothly and the piece carries well without extra bulk.

Useful, attractive and pocket-friendly
A very handy item for the kitchen drawer—opens packages, trims cardboard, and more. The milled aluminum panels have a matte finish with a carbon-fiber strip and the slim profile clips into a pocket easily. The liner jimping helps prevent slips and the included 10-pack of spare blades is a nice touch. I only wish the pocket clip could be moved to the other end for opposite carry orientation.
