Furniture Anchors — Adjustable Anti‑Tip Straps for Baby and Quake Safety
Product description
What’s included: The package contains two complete anchoring sets — totaling two adjustable straps and four metal mounting brackets — along with stainless steel screws for attachment.
Construction and materials: Each anchor uses a thickened solid metal base plate and metal locking buckles paired with high‑strength, cut‑resistant nylon webbing. All fasteners are stainless steel for corrosion resistance and long life. The assembly is engineered to resist breakage under load and has been lab tested to support up to 500 lbs.
Performance and purpose: These straps are designed to arrest tipping and secure heavy or top‑heavy furniture, helping protect children, pets, and belongings. They also act as a low‑profile safeguard in areas prone to earthquakes, keeping large pieces from shifting unexpectedly.
Installation and removal: Fit one bracket to the rear upper edge of the furniture and secure the mate to the wall (ideally into a stud). Connect them with the adjustable strap and tighten using the metal buckle. The system is removable — release the strap to move or clean behind the furniture without damaging finishes.
Suitable uses: Intended for wardrobes, dressers, bookshelves, TV stands, cabinets and similar household items. For maximum stability on tall or heavy pieces, it’s recommended to employ two straps per item.

Adds peace of mind
Installation was straightforward and the anchors feel sturdy. As a parent, anything that reduces tip‑over risk is welcome. The straps are durable and can be detached for moving — I recommend them.

Straightforward and effective
We had an upright freezer that leaned when the door was loaded. The kit included four brackets and two straps with pull‑tight buckles. We screwed brackets into studs at the wall and to the freezer's upper back corners, then hooked and tightened the straps. Problem solved — no more risk of the freezer toppling.

Now confident about dresser stability
Did the job. I'm relieved the heavy dresser, even on thick carpet, won't tip toward my toddler.

Simple to mount
Attaching was quick, though the straps could be a bit longer for some applications.
