10-Pack Stainless Steel Anti-Tip Furniture Anchors — Childproof Kit
Product description
What’s in the box: a 10-pack kit containing ten metal anchor assemblies (two metal mounting plates plus a metal connecting strap per set), a selection of screws, and plastic wall anchors for drywall use.
Materials and dimensions: all load-bearing parts are stainless steel to resist rust and wear. Each flexible connecting strap measures roughly 8 inches (≈20 cm) so it fits most dressers, bookcases and cabinets. The metal mounting plates are compact (about 1.2 x 0.6 inches) and the kit includes common screw sizes (approximately 1" and 1.5") to accommodate typical furniture and wall thicknesses.
How it’s used: attach one mounting plate to the furniture and the matching plate to the wall, then join them with the metal strap. The anchoring system supports either vertical or horizontal installation depending on wall surface and furniture placement. A screwdriver and drill are all that’s required for assembly, following the included instructions.
Performance and safety: the stainless steel construction is fire- and heat-resistant and provides greater durability than plastic-only straps. The anchors are designed to reduce the risk of tip-over incidents—including those caused by climbing children or during moderate earthquakes (tested to resist up to magnitude 5.5). For best results, use two anchors per tall or heavy item.
Pros
- Durable stainless steel parts resist rust and heat
- Includes ten anchor sets — good coverage for multiple items
- Works for vertical or horizontal mounting; straps are detachable
Cons
- Plastic drywall anchors included are relatively weak
- Screws may be short for very thick furniture
- Anchors can be visible if furniture is pulled away from the wall
VerdictA robust, metal-based solution for preventing furniture tip-overs. The kit includes multiple mounting plates, metal straps and assorted fasteners that make securing tall pieces straightforward. Installation is quick for a DIYer, and the stainless components resist corrosion and heat better than plastic alternatives. Note that the supplied plastic drywall anchors can be underwhelming — for drywall

Perfect for new house childproofing
Bought the 10-pack after moving in. They stabilized a large hutch and a floor lamp that kept getting knocked over. Installation was simple and nothing has shifted in a year.

Strong hardware, weak plastic anchors
Metal plates and straps are robust and easy to connect. The supplied plastic drywall anchors ripped out during a pull test, so plan to use better anchors or hit a stud. Still made my furniture much safer.

Stopped my cabinet from tipping — fast install
My curious cat almost got crushed when the bottom drawer opened and the cabinet started to fall. Two of these anchors secured it in under ten minutes after locating studs. We tried tipping it and it held steady.

Good value and effective anchoring
Plenty of pieces in the kit and installation was manageable. Threading the strap in tight spaces was a bit fiddly, but the finished result held firm when I tested the dresser.
