Crankbrothers M19 Bike Multi-Tool — 19-Function Repair Tool
Product description
Packed with 19 on-bike tools, this compact unit includes hex keys in sizes 2, 2.5, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 8 mm; two open wrenches (8 and 10 mm); four spoke wrench settings labeled 0–3; Phillips drivers #1 and #2 and a flat driver #2; plus Torx T10 and T27 bits. A built-in chain tool handles modern drivetrains across 8–12 speeds.
The body is a slim 89 mm long and the assembled tool weighs about 175 g, designed to slip into a seat bag or pocket. The frame is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum while the working bits are made from high-tensile 6150 steel to resist wear. A stainless steel and polymer carrying vessel is supplied to protect the tool and keep components together when not in use.
Ergonomics were considered in the layout: the side grips let you hold the unit securely even while wearing gloves, and the components nest to minimize rattling. The manufacturer covers the product with a limited lifetime warranty against defects in workmanship and materials, offering long-term support for regular riders.
Compact, slim-profile and relatively lightweight, this multi-tool aims to be a near-complete roadside workshop for riders who want one reliable piece of kit rather than many loose tools.
Pros
- Comprehensive set of 19 commonly used bike tools
- Sturdy construction with high-tensile steel bits
- Compact size fits seat bags and pockets
Cons
- Heavier than minimalist multi-tools
- Carrying case quality can be inconsistent
- Some tools sit tightly and take effort to deploy
VerdictThe M19 is a well-rounded, durable multi-tool for cyclists who want a full set of roadside repair options without a bulky kit. Its broad bit selection and a robust chain tool make it useful for touring, gravel, and trail rides. The machined aluminum body and high-tensile steel bits deliver solid durability, though the overall weight and the quality of the carry case are potential trade-offs if you

Top-Notch Build, Practical Kit
Well made and solid. The case opens easily for me and the bits nest so nothing rattles. Makes a great seat-bag kit when paired with a few other essentials.

Looks Good and Feels Durable
Replaced an older multi-tool with this for my e-bike. Tools are tight and well seated so nothing flops, and it feels built to last. Ready in a pouch but I haven't needed it yet.

Heavy but Very Useful
A bit heavier than slim options, but packed with useful bits—great for touring and mixed-surface rides.

Small, Well-Equipped and Ready to Ride
This compact multi-tool is now a regular in my kit. It stows easily without bulk and includes nearly every hex size I need plus screwdrivers and a reliable chain breaker. Gives me confidence on longer rides.

Tool Is Excellent, Case Could Be Better
The tool itself is smartly laid out and durable—chain tool and spoke wrench are handy. The hard case, however, has a fiddly latch that can wear with use and feels lower quality than the tool.

Very Useful for Any Cyclist
Contains enough tools to get you out of most jams. Lightweight and pocketable. The ergonomics could be a touch better, but it’s good value overall.

Saved Me on the Trail
Carried it on an MTB trip and used it to reposition cleats at the trailhead. Worked perfectly. It’s noticeable in hand weight-wise, but worth the peace of mind.
