Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG Retro Pack 2 (RP-02) 2025 Booster Box — 24 Packs

Product description

This product is a factory-packed display box containing 24 booster packs, each pack holding nine trading cards. The 2025 release reproduces the Retro Pack 2 (RP-02) lineup as a time capsule, using the original card frames and preserving the original printed card names and texts from the era.

The complete Retro Pack 2 booster set comprises 101 unique cards: 48 Commons, 24 Rares, 10 Super Rares, 8 Ultra Rares and 11 Secret Rares. Compared with the 2009 limited run, this reissue increases the likelihood of pulling foil cards — the foil drop rate has been doubled for this edition. Cards are printed on standard trading-card cardstock with the same artwork crops and frame styling collectors expect; higher-rarity cards include foil treatments where appropriate.

Dimensions follow standard Yu-Gi-Oh! trading card measurements (approximately 59 mm x 86 mm), so cards fit conventional sleeves, binders and deck boxes. Use these boosters to build vintage-themed decks, expand a collection, or simply enjoy the pack-opening experience. Configuration: 9 cards per pack, 24 packs per display box.

Pros

  • Authentic retro frames, names and texts
  • Higher foil odds than the original release
  • Complete 101-card set for collectors

Cons

  • Not focused on current tournament staples
  • Limited-run aesthetics may not suit all players
  • Some desired cards remain rare

VerdictThis 2025 reissue recreates the classic Retro Pack 2 experience for collectors and longtime players. The set preserves original card borders, names and texts, and raises foil frequency versus the 2009 run, making it easier to pull rarer foils. With 24 packs per box and 9 cards per pack, it’s a compelling pick for anyone rebuilding retro collections, hunting specific retro rarities, or enjoying pac
