Lovevery Play Gym — 5-Stage Baby Activity Gym for First Year
Product description
A complete activity kit for an infant’s first year, the Play Gym provides staged play opportunities to support physical, visual and cognitive growth. In the box you get the four-arched wooden frame and batting ring, the zoned fabric play mat with revealable panels, three adjustable card display clips, four sets of interchangeable learning cards, organic cotton accessories (a high-contrast ball and a mouthable teether), a sustainably sourced wooden batting ring/rattle, and a printed Play Guide with age-specific activities from child development specialists.
The mat is divided into five Montessori-inspired zones designed to manage stimulation and focus development: a Learn-to-Focus area with black-and-white, object, faces and mirror cards; a Making-Sounds section with graspable rattles; a How-Things-Feel patchwork for texture exploration; a Hiding-and-Finding flap zone; and an Exploring-Colors area. Cards slot into three adjustable clips on the frame so babies can watch objects when lying on their backs and engage during tummy time.
Construction uses ethically sourced materials: FSC-certified wooden legs and batting ring, sustainably harvested wooden toys, 100% organic cotton teethers and ball, and a polyester play mat that is machine-washable. The wooden elements are smooth and finished to avoid splinters; the toy printing uses soy-based ink.
Dimensions change depending on mat configuration: about 24 inches high by 38 inches wide and 43 inches long with the mat zones closed; approximately 24 inches high by 50 inches wide and 47 inches long with the zones open. Setup requires no tools and the frame assembles and disassembles easily for storage or transport. The system also converts into a small play fort when paired with a cover for imaginative play as infants become toddlers.
The included Play Guide suggests dozens of activities tailored from newborn through 12+ months that leverage the interchangeable cards and removable accessories to promote reaching, grasping, visual tracking and independent play.

Sturdy, Engaging, Used Daily
We use this every day. It’s sturdy, secure, and simple to assemble. The card holders have encouraged head turning and visual focus, and the flaps, textures, and sounds keep our three-month-old entertained. It even stands up to my two-year-old swinging on it occasionally. The only practical downside is the footprint — it does occupy a lot of room, so I tuck it on her rocker when I need the space.

So Fun and Easy to Use
I love this play gym — it’s lightweight, cleans easily, and the variety of textures and attachments keep our baby engaged. She lies under it and studies the cards and jingling toys for long stretches. Assembly and moving it from room to room is simple. The included booklet helped me pick age-appropriate ways to use the pieces, and I can see she’s benefiting developmentally while having fun.

Ideal Newborn Play Area
We started using this with our newborn and it quickly became one of the most useful baby items we own. The neutral, minimalist look fits in our living room without screaming "baby gear," and the high-contrast cards and hanging pieces really hold our infant’s attention during those first quiet minutes. It gives us small pockets of hands-free time while she watches and reaches. The fabrics are soft, the wooden parts feel solid, and everything seems made with non-toxic materials, which mattered a lot since everything ends up in her mouth.

Great for Twins
This gym works well for our twins — plenty of room for both to interact even from five months. The fabric is soft and wipes clean easily, and the wooden rattles draw both kids’ attention while teaching cause and effect. It’s pricier than some alternatives, but the durability and thoughtful design make it a worthwhile shared resource.

Worth the Investment for Ongoing Use
I bought this when my baby was only a couple weeks old and it’s been a great fit. She focused well on the black-and-white cards even at two weeks, and now at nine weeks we’ve added more interactions. The playmat grows with her and the activity suggestions in the guide helped me use her brief awake windows productively. It’s an investment, but it performs across stages.

Excellent but Could Use Tweaks
Overall we love this play gym and our little one has spent lots of happy time here over four months. The cards, hanging toys, and wooden batting ring are favorites, and the play guide has been useful. It’s simpler and more educational than other gyms we tried. A few small improvements would be nice — a bit more compact storage or a sturdier clip system — but none of those detract from how much our baby enjoys it.

Attractive and Thoughtful Design
Three things stood out: it looks beautiful, the packaging felt premium, and assembly was effortless. The Montessori influence is clear — the mat’s separate sections let you target sensory, visual, or tactile play on purpose. The peek-a-boo pockets and textured panels create real opportunities for learning rather than just passive hanging toys. I actually feel comfortable leaving baby here a bit longer than on other mats.

A Favorite for All Three Kids
I’m a mom of three and wish I’d had this from the start. I was skeptical at first but the solid wooden frame is a major difference — smooth, sturdy, and thoughtfully finished. It holds up far better than typical plastic arches and tolerates heavier toys. Every detail feels well considered, and the overall durability means it will get used again with future children.
