Heat-Resistant Silicone BBQ Grilling Gloves — Fireproof Oven Mitts
Product description
High Heat Resistance and Hand Protection
These grilling gloves are engineered to deliver strong thermal protection while remaining flexible enough for kitchen and outdoor use. They are EN407-rated and advertised to withstand temperatures up to 1472°F, helping you pick up oven racks, grill grates, hot pans or fireplace logs with greater safety.
Three-Layer Construction
The gloves use three distinct layers for optimized protection and comfort. The outer layer features food-grade silicone strips for a secure, non-slip hold. Beneath that sits a heavy-duty aramid fiber layer that offers flame resistance and high-temperature insulation. The innermost lining is a polyester-cotton blend that reduces skin irritation and keeps the fit pleasant during extended wear.
Design and Fit
A five-finger layout provides better dexterity than traditional mitts, so you can grasp tools, tongs, lids and cast-iron cookware more precisely. Both sides of each glove are decorated with fire-pattern accents; the gloves are ambidextrous so you can wear either on either hand. The extended cuff gives wrist and lower-arm coverage to reduce accidental contact burns.
What’s Included
Each set ships with one pair of heat-resistant silicone gloves plus 50 disposable gloves intended for food handling at parties or in commercial settings. The outer silicone is washable with mild soap and water, and a hanging loop allows easy drying and storage.
Care and Safety Notes
These gloves are flame-retardant and extend the amount of time you can safely hold hot items, but they are not permanent fire shields. Avoid prolonged direct exposure to open flame and do not leave them resting in contact with an active fire.

A Bit Bulky but Effective
I wouldn’t trust them right in a roaring flame, but they’re great for grabbing items from the oven. Heat begins to seep through after about 20 seconds if you hold something, but that’s longer than you’d normally need. Useful overall, just a touch thick.

Would Buy Again — Perfect for Large Smokers
Bought these for my husband’s big smoker and he loves them. Easier to use than the bulky originals that came with his setup. We’ll repurchase when needed.

Comfortable and Protective
Nice addition to my outdoor cooking kit. They offer good heat protection and allow enough flexibility to grip pizza stones and trays. The silicone pattern holds items securely and the cuffs protect lower arms. Materials feel sturdy and they’re easy to wash.

Dependable for Smoking and Camping
These gloves have saved my hands on many cookouts — pulling trays from the smoker and moving hot racks is much safer. The silicone pattern keeps tongs and racks from sliding, the long cuffs protect wrists, and they wash up without losing shape. Tough enough for camping and baking too.

Solid Performance
They do the job well, giving a better hold on hot items than mitts, especially with heavy cast-iron pieces.

Worked Well Until a Mishap
They performed fine until my dog got ahold of them. Thankfully they’re machine-washable and cleaned up easily afterward.

Great Grip and Reliable Heat Shield
These gloves have been my go-to for more than just the grill — they work for hot pots, steaming pans and anything I pull from the oven. The insulation lets you hold metal racks and trays without feeling through to your skin, and the textured silicone gives a confident grip on steel and glass. They rinse clean easily and fit generously to cover the wrist and part of the forearm. A bit bulky, but that’s the trade-off for serious protection.

Unsure About Long-Term Durability
I bought a pricier pair before and hoped these would last longer, but they look similar to the cheaper set I replaced. They’re a bit big on my hands, almost too roomy, so I’ll watch how they hold up over time.

Mixed Results — Great for Oven, Limited for High-Heat Cast Iron
They work well in the oven and fit nicely, but they struggled with my very hot cast-iron pans at high grill temps. I paired them with rubber grips for extra traction and it helped. They can slip off if snagged by a pet, and after many uses the silicone pattern wore down a bit, though they still protect against heat.

Love These for Chores and Fireside
Absolutely adore these gloves. They make stacking firewood and tending the hearth simple without splinters or burns. They run a little large but that’s fine — anyone can wear them. I grabbed a hot piece of wood and didn’t feel anything.

Switched from Mitts — Very Pleased
I wanted fingered gloves for better control and these delivered. I bought two pairs so one can air-dry while I use the other. They come in a couple of colors; mine are bright red and my family thought they looked fun. The extended cuff helps protect forearms and they fit my larger hands comfortably. Durable so far and keep heat away well.

Excellent for Outdoor Griddles
I won’t stand at my griddle without these anymore. They feel slightly thick but are comfortable and allow me to handle tools while cooking hibachi-style. After a few minutes I hardly notice them, and my forearms stay cool even near scorching surfaces. Good value and I expect they’ll last a long time.
