Floating IPX8 Waterproof Phone Pouch — 2-Pack Dry Cases
Product description
IPX8-rated protection: These pouches carry an IPX8 certification and are built to keep devices safe up to 30 m (100 ft) underwater. The seal system relies on a triple-lock closure that blocks water, dust and sand, and the construction adds impact resistance for travel and outdoor use.
Floatation design and capacity: Each pouch has an integrated sponge air chamber around the edge so it will float if dropped. The float supports about 360 g and is sized to accommodate phones up to approximately 6.9–7.0 inches. This means your device stays at the surface and is easy to retrieve during swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding or similar activities.
Materials and touchscreen function: The pouch is made from clear PVC with a transparent front window that keeps the touchscreen responsive for swiping, texting and video viewing. Note that capacitive fingerprint sensors (Touch ID) frequently will not register through the material.
Camera and photography: The front window lets you compose shots and operate the screen, while a smaller rear window lines up with the phone’s cameras so you can capture photos and video without removing the phone from the pouch. For underwater shooting, using volume buttons can help if touch input becomes unresponsive.
Lanyard, sizing and strength: Included are detachable, adjustable nylon neck cords that range roughly from 35 cm to 55 cm and are rated to withstand roughly 20 kg of tension. The pouch fits a wide array of large smartphones, including recent iPhone, Galaxy and Pixel models.
Usage tips and contents: For best fit and sealing, remove bulky protective cases before inserting your phone. If the touchscreen seems inactive underwater, try the hardware volume buttons for photos. Small condensation may appear; a quick wipe clears it. Always perform a dry-paper test before each use. Simple to set up and effective
Used it at Niagara Falls — no water inside during the Cave of the Winds tour. Very snug fit and the pictures looked great straight out of the pouch. Easy to use.

Good value for the quality. Fits my Galaxy S25 Ultra and I could take photos in the bay without removing the phone. Definitely waterproof, and the long strap made it easy to manage while kayaking.

Works fantastically at the beach
Took these on a beach day and they delivered. The waterproofing was solid and the float feature was a lifesaver — our phones stayed at the surface while we swam. Fit an iPhone 17 Pro and an iPhone 12 mini well, touch worked through the window and photos came out clear. Highly recommend.

Kept phones dry on our cruise
We used four pouches during a cruise to the Bahamas and they worked perfectly. We tested each before use and were able to take underwater photos and videos. Good build quality and clear images.

Great for river rides
Brought it on a river trip and it performed perfectly. Compact and secure — phone stayed dry and usable inside the pouch. Fingerprint unlocking was hit-or-miss, but PIN entry and navigation worked fine. I’d suggest it to anyone who wants reliable protection.

Saved my phone after I capsized
I flipped my paddleboard, lost the phone but it floated. I couldn’t retrieve it right away, came back hours later and it still powered on with a solid battery. Floated for over 15 hours before recovery — would buy again.

Note: touchscreen may fail underwater
The case does an excellent job keeping the phone dry, even fully submerged. While snorkeling I couldn’t trigger the camera with the touchscreen underwater — above water it was fine. Still a useful pouch, but be aware of this limitation.

Ho comprato queste custodie per le uscite in SUP e sono molto soddisfatto. Ho fatto il test con carta assorbente e dopo un’ora era asciutta. La camera d’aria fa la differenza: resta a galla e si recupera facilmente. Touchscreen funziona bene sopra l’acqua.
