Aluminum Bridge Threshold Ramp for Doorways — 27.6 x 17 in
Product description
ADJUSTABLE SUPPORT WIDTH: Includes removable support bars that accept openings from 2.8 to 5.1 in wide. Measure the available support span before buying and ensure the threshold height does not exceed 1.6 in.
27.6-INCH BRIDGE DESIGN: Overall footprint is 27.6 x 17 in, forming a bridge over many sliding door tracks, patio thresholds, and small level changes inside the home to provide a more gradual ramp-in/out.
WHEELCHAIR ACCESS FOR LOW THRESHOLDS: Built to accommodate wheelchairs, walkers, scooters and power chairs when used on compatible low barriers. The ramp’s dual-sided profile helps lessen wheel jolt when entering or leaving a doorway.
TEXTURED ALUMINUM SURFACE: Constructed from non-slip aluminum with deep traction grooves to improve wheel grip and create a stable passage. Intended for compatible sliding door tracks; keeping the surface free of dirt and moisture improves traction.
QUICK SETUP AND DOOR CLEARANCE: Ships assembled and only requires a screwdriver to modify the support-bar width. Operate with the door open and remove the ramp before closing if it prevents clearance for a sliding or hinged door.

Did exactly what we needed
Worked perfectly for our situation. It allowed a relative who uses a wheelchair to move between rooms with much less effort.

Creates a trip point in some spots
It functions, but because my porch and sliding door frame aren’t level the ramp sits uneven and can be a trip hazard. I end up removing it between uses.

Flexible design and solid build
I like that the ramp can be adjusted to fit different thresholds instead of being one fixed size. Once positioned it feels very stable and makes passing the raised edge effortless. It stores compactly and doesn’t crowd the doorway.

Too wobbly for my patio
Very difficult to set up and felt unstable once in place. It failed to work for my sliding patio door.

Needed minor trimming
I had to shave about 1/4 in to make it fit my patio door. After that it worked perfectly.

Easy install, solid performance
Bought for a patio threshold — installation and removal are straightforward. Sturdy, well made and does the job.

Good construction but wrong size for us
Looks strong and well-made. I had to return it because it didn’t fit the exact area needed for my father’s wheelchair.

Simple fix made it usable
At first it wouldn’t fit over both door jambs because the center supports were too narrow. Someone suggested removing the screwed-on supports — I did — and now it works great. I gave four stars because I still have to remove it to close the doors, though it’s light and easy to lift.

Not suitable for my frame
Be sure to measure the base height of your door — with mine it teetered like a seesaw and wasn’t stable, so it didn’t meet my needs.

Heavy-duty feel
Feels solid and fits securely over a sliding door jamb.

Edges might mark flooring
Solid construction and easy to adapt for my opening. I added thin weatherstripping to prevent scratches where it contacts the floor.

Not for fixed installations
This model didn’t offer the adjustability I needed for a permanent setup and therefore wasn’t a fit.
