Washable 6x9 Outdoor Area Rug — Modern Patio & Porch Carpet

Product description

Designed for outdoor and indoor placement, this rug suits patios, decks, porches as well as living rooms, kitchens, bedrooms and halls. It’s offered in five common sizes — 5x7, 6x9, 8x10, 9x12 and 10x14 — to fit a variety of spaces.

Constructed from 100% premium polypropylene, the rug features a flat, low‑pile weave that minimizes shedding and slides easily beneath furniture. The pattern is a bordered geometric stripe and color options include Black, Blue, Dark Gray, Gold, Gray, Natural, Navy and Olive.

Care is straightforward: vacuum indoors or hose the rug down outdoors. For deeper cleaning use a mild detergent mixed with water; it dries quickly and requires little maintenance. Built to resist water and UV fading, the material handles sun, rain, dirt and everyday traffic while maintaining shape.

Each order is inspected to meet quality expectations so you receive a ready‑to‑use rug. Its lightweight profile and fast drying make it a practical choice for both seasonal outdoor use and year‑round indoor placement.

Pros

  • Machine/washable and easy to hose down
  • Low‑pile, non‑shedding flat weave
  • UV and water resistant, quick drying

Cons

  • Very lightweight — corners can lift in wind
  • Feels thinner than some heavy outdoor rugs
  • Ships folded; may need time to flatten

VerdictA practical, lightweight outdoor rug that performs well in wet and sunny conditions. The flat weave and low profile fit under furniture and resist shedding, while being easy to clean. It’s versatile for patios, porches and indoor use, though light weight means it can lift in strong wind.

Comfortable for pets, easy to smooth

Perfect for our back porch and comfy for our dogs to nap on. Wrinkles and folds smooth out fairly quickly after laying it flat.

  2. Michelle Grosskopf 5/5

    Thin but pleasant texture

I like that it’s slimmer than many outdoor rugs and has more of an indoor carpet feel. Overall a very nice rug and a good value compared with other options I’ve seen.

  3. Pamela 5/5

    Attractive and tough

Nice looking rug that holds up to use and is simple to clean. A durable choice for our patio.

Unfolds and lies flat next day

Spreads out easily and was flat by the next day with no curling at the ends.

  5. SueM 5/5

Great for the porch — lays flat

This rug arrived folded but flattens out after a short time. Corners stay down and the weave and color feel high quality. A nice upgrade for our porch — I recommend it.

    Solid construction, attractive look

Happy with this 9x6 washable rug. It arrived in good condition and appears sturdy. Chose gray for the porch and the color matches the photos. No loose threads; I’d buy it again.

  7. Grammy Dee 5/5

Two purchased — holding up well

I ordered two for different seating areas. After a few weeks the color still looks great and the pile flattened quickly. It has handled heavy rain without issue and remains in good shape.

    Looks right but very light

Pattern and color match expectations. Only drawback is the rug’s light weight — corners can blow up in windy spots.
