Heavy-Duty Rubber Boot Tray with Raised Lip — 27.56 x 15.75 in

Product description

What you get: one heavy-duty boot tray designed to catch water, mud and debris from footwear or pet areas.

Material and build: Cast from 100% natural rubber, this tray offers higher tensile strength and improved tear resistance compared with recycled rubber alternatives. It’s free of BPA and other harmful additives and tends to emit less odor than recycled compounds.

Size and weight: The tray measures 27.56 inches long by 15.75 inches wide with a height of 0.79 inches. Its approximate weight is 2.87 pounds, making it durable yet simple to move as needed.

Design and performance: A textured, non-slip surface helps keep shoes from shifting, while raised edges form a lip that traps rainwater, snowmelt and muddy residue to prevent spills onto flooring. The underside is engineered to resist sliding so the mat stays put on tile, laminate or concrete.

Care and uses: Being fully waterproof and stain-resistant, cleanup is straightforward—just rinse with water or scrub lightly to remove caked-on mud. Suitable for entryways, mudrooms, closets, under pet bowls or litter boxes, and other indoor or sheltered outdoor spots that need floor protection.

Pros

  • Solid natural rubber construction
  • Non-slip texture with raised edges
  • Easy to rinse and maintain

Cons

  • Takes up a modest amount of floor space
  • May have a faint initial rubber scent
  • Not intended for prolonged outdoor exposure without cover

VerdictSturdy, low-odor natural rubber construction makes this tray a reliable entryway solution. The non-slip base and textured interior keep footwear in place while the raised lip contains runoff. Easy to rinse clean, it’s useful under boots, sneakers, pet bowls or litter boxes and fits tight spaces where protection is needed.

Reviews

  1. Joe 4/5

Works, but aired it out first

Serves the intended purpose, though it released a chemical smell at first. I let it sit in the sun for a couple weeks before indoor use.

  2. BusyC 5/5

    Holds several pairs

Long enough for five pairs of men's dress shoes. Fits under hanging drawers and stays out of the way while remaining accessible.

  3. Stacy A. Stacey 5/5

    Well made and flexible

Rubber is pliable. It arrived rolled but flattened with no creases and looks sturdy and well-made.

  4. JMD 5/5

    Great for messy pets

Excellent for containing spills from a very messy eater—perfect solution for my cat.

  5. Joyce 5/5

    Doing what it should

No problems so far—keeps floors cleaner.

  6. D 5/5

    Perfect for the back door

This tray cut the mess by about 80%. The leftover grime is user error. Handles NC red clay, cut grass and leaf mulch—take shoes off outside, set them on the mat, and you’re good to go.

  7. Shopping Lady 5/5

    A handy essential

Very effective. I have one at the front door and another at the garage entry—both perform reliably.

  8. BABS 5/5

    Absorbs and stays put

Lightweight yet steady on tile. Big enough for four pairs of women's boots or two to three pairs of men's boots. Holds water that dries quickly.
