Climbing
Two Stones Wooden Doorway Hangboard for Rock Climbing Training
Product description
Made from one solid piece of natural hardwood, this fingerboard is CNC milled to avoid joints, chips or splices for a uniform, sturdy build.
The layout is designed for varied training: two sloper angles, four different finger-pocket configurations (one- through four-finger) offered in four depths, plus distinct edges and pinch grips to replicate a wide range of climbing holds.
All grip surfaces are rounded with an R5 fillet and fully sanded and polished. The smooth finish and lack of sharp edges reduce skin abrasion and make longer hangs more comfortable.
The board narrows from 1.85 inches at the top to 1 inch at the bottom (4.8–2.5 cm) to improve forearm clearance. Overall dimensions are 21.5 × 5.9 × 1.85 inches (550 × 150 × 48 mm), chosen to suit typical doorways and ergonomic hand placement.
It ships as a doorway-style hangboard with mounting hardware included: seven screws (four M4×70 mm and three M4×50 mm) and seven expansion anchors. If you cannot fasten directly to studs, it's recommended to mount the board to a plywood backboard (not included) before attaching to drywall.
Pros
- Single‑block hardwood construction for durability
- Wide range of pockets, slopes and pinches for varied training
- Smooth, rounded pockets reduce skin irritation during hangs
Cons
- Needs solid mounting—backboard advised when studs aren’t available
- Natural wood tone may vary between units
- Not ideal for non-standard mounting without modification
VerdictA robust, versatile wooden hangboard that suits beginners through advanced climbers. The single-block construction and polished pockets make it comfortable for long hangs, while the range of pocket depths, slopes and pinches offers progressive training. Requires secure mounting—use a backboard if you can’t attach to studs.

Arrived with dents but still works
Had a few small dents, including one on a center sloper. Functionally fine, but I expected better cosmetic condition.

Nearly perfect
I ordered a few to get a consistent wood tone. Aside from color differences, it’s a great family training board and the carabiner attachment helps with safety.

Mount to studs or add a backboard
Installation was easy and my son loves it. Follow other reviewers: attach to studs or use plywood behind it or anchors can pull out.

Very disappointed
The unit I received didn’t match the photos or description and felt cheap. I’m returning it and won’t buy from this seller again—be cautious.
