Overview
This kit contains a 16.4 ft (5 m) RGBIC LED strip, a small inline controller, a matching power adapter, and pre-applied adhesive backing. The flexible PCB strip is studded with individually addressable LEDs (IC chips) that allow multiple colors to appear simultaneously along a single run.
Materials and size
The strip is built on a flexible circuit substrate with multiple diode modules and a sticky backing for surface mounting. The standard length is 16.4 feet (5 meters). The tape uses a strong adhesive layer—clean, dry, and dust-free surfaces are recommended before applying the strip to ensure lasting adhesion. The lights are optimized for indoor installations and are not designed for prolonged outdoor exposure.
How it works
Control is handled through the companion mobile app via Bluetooth. The software provides access to 16 million colors, segmented DIY zones, and more than 60 preset scenes. A built-in, high-sensitivity microphone enables music-sync modes and several selectable audio-reactive patterns. Regular firmware and theme updates expand the available effects and user-created content through the app community.
Installation notes
Before sticking the strip, wipe the mounting surface to remove oils, lint, or paint dust—these contaminants can weaken the adhesive. Cut points are available if you need to shorten the strip, and the flexible form lets you route it around corners and into light boxes. For best results, avoid mounting on rough, damp, or highly textured outdoor surfaces.

Solid performance
Arrived in perfect condition. I ordered the longer 32.8 ft version for my room and it matched my measurements exactly. Setup was easy: find a power point, route the strip, and stick it down. The adhesive feels sturdier than competing products and the wall remote is simple to use. Very satisfied overall.

One section dead
I like them but about a foot of the strip didn’t light up. Pretty disappointed.

App and persistent glow issues
They work fine, but the app can be awkward. For example, switching to music mode doesn’t let you exit that mode without turning lights off or manually picking a solid color. You also can’t save segmented patterns the way I expected. In the bedroom the LEDs create tiny green dots on the ceiling at night that are annoying even when dimmed.

Perfect under-desk lighting

Fantastic light show
Very happy with these. Installation was straightforward and the colors are vivid. The segmented feature creates dynamic, multicolor effects and the app offers DIY segments, scenes, music sync, and scheduling. Bluetooth connectivity has been dependable. A great way to change a room’s atmosphere.

Really impressive strip
These RGBIC strips are great—simple to mount, stick well even around corners, and put out every color you want. The app unlocks tons of effects and custom zones. I had one hiccup where the app wanted me to repair the device after reopening, but a second reopen fixed it and it’s worked flawlessly since. Perfect for gaming, media rooms, or mood lighting.

Lots of light for the cost
I mounted them under my desk and behind curtains. They’re currently set to solid blue and look great. You can spot individual LEDs up close, but positioned right they give a smooth glow. Adhesive stuck well under the desk; the textured painted wall might be less secure. Bluetooth pairing was easy and they’re app-only, no voice assistant support.

Excellent app and powerful light
The app is packed with modes and custom options. The strip is very bright—so much so I had to dim it at night. You can assign different colors to different sections easily. Highly recommend.
