Patio
4-Piece Heavy-Duty Cantilever Umbrella Base — 180 lb Capacity
Product description
What you get: a set of four interlocking square base panels designed to surround the pole of a cantilever/offset patio umbrella.
Capacity and sizing: each board accepts filling so the whole assembly can hold up to 110 lbs of water, 140 lbs of sand, or about 180 lbs when combining both media. The system is sized to support cantilever umbrellas in the 9–10 ft range.
How it works: each panel has a large fill port with a threaded screw cap for fast refill or draining, letting you add or remove ballast as needed when relocating or storing the umbrella. The panels sit around the umbrella footing to add mass without requiring tools for installation.
Construction and durability: molded from weather-resistant, wear-proof material formulated to resist fading and moisture damage. The finish is intended to endure sun exposure and outdoor humidity so the base stays functional season after season.
Support: manufactured units undergo inspection to meet quality checks and help ensure you receive a consistent, long-lasting umbrella base.
Pros
- High ballast capacity with water or sand
- Tool-free placement and quick filling
- Weather-resistant, nonfading material
Cons
- Panels are not mechanically joined
- Some caps may feel loose on occasion
- Groove fit can vary by umbrella foot design
VerdictA simple, modular ballast system that stabilizes 9–10 ft cantilever umbrellas. The four-piece design is tool-free to position, fills via screw caps, and withstands outdoor conditions. Good value if you want an unobtrusive, heavy base you can move when empty.

Does the job, minor fit issue
They secure the umbrella but the grooves are a bit shallow so the plates don’t always sit perfectly flat. No way to bolt them together, but attractive and functional overall.

Simple, attractive and effective
Replaced ugly sandbags with these and they work perfectly. They look nicer, fill easily with water and keep the umbrella steady. Great value.

Solid choice
Holds my umbrella well and the top surface is big enough for planters. No leaks after a month of water fill. Very pleased.

Holds up in gusty conditions
Filled with sand for a 10' umbrella and it’s stayed put even in wind. Each panel weighs roughly 80 lbs when filled. Would buy again.

One cap problem
Three panels held water fine but the fourth’s cap didn’t thread tightly and leaked when tipped. Otherwise okay.

Mostly satisfied, fixed an issue
Chose this over other options because it covers the metal base nicely. One plug came loose and one panel developed a leak; I sealed the seam and it’s fine now. Caps are not tethered.
