34 oz Citronella Outdoor Candle (3-Wick) — Large Soy Tin, 2-Pack
Product description
This product is a two-pack of large citronella candles presented in attractive metal tins. Each tin holds 34 oz of natural soy wax and contains three cotton wicks made from lead-free materials. The formula contains no paraffin fillers and is scented with lemongrass essential oil to provide the characteristic citronella aroma.
Each candle is designed to burn for about 80–100 hours, so the pair delivers roughly 200 hours of combined burn time. The three-wick design helps the wax melt evenly and produces a broad, steady flame that is suitable for outdoor settings like patios and decks.
Because the wax is 100% natural soy and the wicks are lead-free cotton, these candles are formulated to burn with minimal black soot and to be non-toxic to people, pets and the environment when used as intended. The scent is intended to be fresh and not overwhelming so it can be used in outdoor and semi-indoor spaces.
Use the tins on tables, along walkways, in the garden, at the pool, or at a campsite to create a relaxing glow while helping deter flying insects. They can also be placed in covered porches or indoor areas where ventilation is available and citronella is desired.
When the wax is fully consumed the metal containers can be cleaned and repurposed as small storage vessels, planters, craft jars or new candle holders, making them both ornamental and reusable. The set is often packaged for gifting on summer occasions.
Pros
- Natural soy wax with lemongrass oil
- Long burn time — ~80–100 hrs per tin
- Reusable decorative metal jars
Cons
- Some wicks may be inconsistent
- Scent strength varies by user
- Relies on open flame — not windproof
VerdictThese large 3-wick citronella tins are a strong option for extended outdoor use: natural soy wax, lemongrass oil and lead-free cotton wicks deliver a pleasant citronella aroma and long burn time. They create a cozy atmosphere and help reduce biting insects, though a few users report inconsistent wick quality. Overall a practical choice if you want reusable tins and hours of insect-repelling fragra

Wicks won't hold flame
The wicks are too thin and won't remain lit. I recommend replacing them before use.

Effective but smaller
They do repel bugs and the scent is mild. I expected them a bit larger.

Wicks need improvement
Strong citronella smell, but several wicks were too long and crumbled, causing the flame to go out.
