Skier’s Breakfast Burrito Recipe from Beaumont Bakery

On my Salt Lake City breakfast tour I’m focusing mostly on newer spots, but I’m including a few places I’ve visited before because they still feel fresh to the valley. One of those staples is Beaumont. Today I picked up a breakfast burrito there and knew it belonged on this list.

I love Beaumont for two main reasons: convenience and freshness. If you spend time in the mountains along the Wasatch Front, Beaumont is one of the best places to fuel up before your adventures. I often grab a breakfast burrito on my way up the canyon before a big ski day. The drive-through makes it quick and accessible without sacrificing quality. While drive-through burritos from many Mexican spots are tasty, they can be greasy and leave me feeling sluggish when I’m heading into a physically demanding day—Beaumont avoids that.

Beaumont’s breakfast burrito is packed with fresh eggs, bacon, avocado, roasted corn, and bell peppers. What truly elevates it is the sauce—the creamy tomatillo escabeche-style dressing adds bright, layered flavor. A great breakfast burrito often comes down to its sauce, and this one delivers.

Tucked between 3900 and 4500 South on Wasatch Boulevard, Beaumont offers much more than a delicious breakfast burrito. From excellent coffee and fresh pastries to a delightful burrata salad, the menu is reliably good. A quick note: great food brings crowds, and Beaumont is no exception. On weekends you’ll often find people gathered outside. If you only want pastries and coffee, don’t be deterred—it’s easy to grab what you need or use the drive-through. But if you plan to sit and linger, expect a wait on busy weekends. With a pleasant patio and an attractive interior, Beaumont is worth the visit.
