Mini 0.8-Inch Travel Hair Straightener — Compact Ceramic Flat Iron
Product description
Compact design and what’s included
This mini flat iron measures approximately 8.3 inches and weighs about 7.04 ounces. It ships with a thin storage pouch, an instruction booklet and includes a 1-year limited warranty for covered defects. A locking clasp keeps the plates closed for storage.
Plates, materials and heat
The tool features 0.8-inch ceramic-coated plates that provide smooth contact and even heat distribution. Built-in PTC heating technology brings the plates up to temperature in roughly 30 seconds and helps maintain consistent heat during styling. There are two fixed temperature options: about 356°F for finer or heat-sensitive hair and about 410°F for medium to thicker or more resistant hair types.
Size and styling versatility
The slim plates and slightly rounded body make it easy to work around bangs, roots, short bobs and cropped cuts, and to create small curls, flipped ends or soft bends. Its narrow width is tailored to precise styling of short sections and targeted touch-ups on longer hair.
Travel-ready electricals
Equipped with 100–240V dual-voltage, the straightener can be used internationally without manual switching; a plug adapter may be needed depending on the destination. Because the supplied pouch is not heat-resistant, allow the iron to cool completely before storing.
Care and support
Follow the warning and care instructions in the booklet to avoid damage. If a covered problem arises during normal use, contact customer support under the 1-year limited warranty for assistance.
Pros
- Very compact and lightweight for travel
- Fast 30s PTC heat-up with ceramic plates
- Dual-voltage for international use
Cons
- Only two fixed temperature settings
- Pouch is not heat-resistant
- Lightweight construction may feel less durable
VerdictThis compact flat iron excels at styling small sections, short styles and on-the-go touch-ups. The narrow ceramic plates and rounded housing let you smooth, flip or add small curls. It heats quickly and supports international voltage, but with only two fixed temperatures and a lightweight build it’s best used as a travel or backup tool rather than a daily full-head styler.

Excellent travel touch-up tool
Compact and fast-heating, it’s great for refreshing hair between meetings or on trips. The limited temperature choices mean it’s not my main daily iron, but it holds temperature consistently and performs well on the lower setting when I don’t need maximum heat. Easy to stash in a purse or carry-on.

Handy size for gym or quick morning fixes
I cut my hair short and needed something small to tame ponytail kinks after workouts. This model heats quickly and is slightly larger than some ultra-mini irons, so I can style slightly bigger sections without constant redoing. Two heat settings work well; I usually pick the hotter option to finish sections in one pass.

Perfect for bangs and short face-framing strands
I use this every day on my bangs and short pieces. The slim plates grab short hair easily and the small size makes it simple to maneuver without touching my skin. Heats up fast on the higher setting, which I use for a smooth, straight finish. Lightweight enough to toss in my bag for quick fixes.

Good for small sections, not a daily full-head iron
Works well on short sections and for touch-ups. It’s truly a travel-sized iron, not meant to replace a full-size styler for daily full-head straightening. The power switch sits between the plates, which makes me cautious when turning it on or off. It has two heat levels labeled for fine/normal and thicker hair, and an outside lock to keep the plates closed. The included pouch is handy but doesn’t appear heat-proof, so wait until it’s cool before putting it away. Feels a bit lightweight, so I’m unsure about long-term durability.

Works well on bangs; lacks detailed company info
Bought mainly for daily bangs. It arrived with a thin storage pouch and a manual, and states a 1-year warranty though no detailed company contact was included. Only two temperature options are listed but the exact numbers weren’t in the booklet, so I checked product info to choose the right setting. Plates are smooth and gave a nice lift at the roots with no odd smells during initial use. My fine, thin top layers straightened nicely.
