Collapsible Cork-Grip Trekking Poles — Lightweight Folding Hiking Poles (Pair)
Product description
Natural cork top grips: The poles use cork handles that wick moisture away from your palms for a secure, non-slip feel during long walks. Cork offers a slight rotational give — this is an ergonomic anti-torque design, not a flaw. Lower down there are EVA foam grips for added cushioning when tackling rougher trails.
Pros
- Comfortable cork grips that absorb sweat
- Compact tri-fold design fits into luggage
- Lightweight yet sturdy aluminum construction
Cons
- Cork has slight twist by design
- Rubber tips can detach with heavy use
- Aluminum bends under extreme loads (vs carbon)
VerdictA practical, travel-friendly pair of trekking poles that balance comfort and durability. Cork handles manage sweat, aluminum shafts provide strength without much weight, and the compact tri-fold design fits into luggage. Good for hikes, travel, and everyday walking.

Well made but a bit head-heavy for me
Construction is solid and the pole folds down compactly. My only trouble is the quad base concentrates weight at the far end, which aggravated my knee and hip. That may be a personal biomechanics issue—overall the pole is high quality and adjustable.

Excellent aid for casual walkers
After trying a couple of poles, these are ideal for less intense use. Light, compact, and they really reduce hip and knee strain. Straps adjust easily and the folding sections align precisely. Plenty of height range for different users—highly recommended.

Fantastic stability in rough country
Quick to deploy and packs down tiny. Used them hunting in steep, dense mountains and they made a big difference. Only gripe is the small rubber caps come off fairly easily, but the metal tips worked great for me.

Helped me summit a tough peak
Used on a steep Idaho mountain and these were essential. Small when collapsed, light to carry, and solid on ascents and descents. Cork handles are comfortable and adjustments are quick. I don’t think I could have completed the route without them.

Perfect for flying out to hikes
Bought two sets for a plane trip to a glacier tour and they tucked into carry items and backpacks with no issue. They snapped into place cleanly and provided steady support on steep, rocky trails. My hiking-savvy son liked them too and asked where I got them—great travel solution.

So easy to lock and super lightweight
The adjustment clicks in nicely and is satisfying to set. Very light and easy to handle. The flip-locks hold tight. As a beginner they’ve helped my walking pace and stamina. I watched demo videos for proper height and use — worth doing. They’re versatile for hikes or everyday walks; choose aluminum if you want a little flex rather than a brittle carbon option.

Joint relief on long alpine hikes
Recommended by an experienced hiker, these have been transformative for my knees and ankles on multi-mile trails. Lightweight, comfy grips, and very simple to open and set. I’m in my early 20s and already feel these will help me hike for decades. Excellent value for the performance.

Outstanding value and performance
High-quality feel, quick to open and fold away, and light to carry. I used them on long walking days with no blisters from the cork handles. They perform far above their cost and handled rough ground with ease.

Top-notch support and responsive service
Customer service was excellent when I damaged a pole mid-season — they sent a replacement set quickly. The poles themselves are durable, locks stay put, and the cork never got slippery from sweat. They fold and unfold easily while running and fit perfectly in my running pole quiver.

Saved our trip—sturdy and travel-ready
We took these on a two-week European trip while we had mobility issues and they were fantastic. They fold small for packing and never caused problems with security. Easy to set to the right height so I could walk upright, and robust enough for varied terrain. They came with multiple tip options which was handy.
